FAQ

Why is the GPS Location drifting?

GPS signal accuracy can be influenced by several factors, such as adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or thunderstorms, extreme temperatures, nearby buildings, hills, or mountains, and improper installation methods or positioning. If your device operates under these challenging conditions, it may result in less accurate positioning. If you experience persistent location drifting, we encourage you to get in touch with our staff for assistance and support.

What if the GPS Tracker outside GSM coverage area?

Your device will store up submitting the messages to server until it is connected to the network again. The device will store the messages inside the memory(offline data). When the GSM network resumes the data will stream back to server.

Why the tracker is not updating?

Several factors can cause a tracker not to update its position on the map. To troubleshoot this issue, consider the following:1. Power and Connectivity: Firstly, ensure that the tracker is adequately charged and powered on. A lack of power will prevent it from functioning.2. GPS Signal: Verify that the tracker is located in an area with a clear view of the sky or unobstructed access to GPS satellites. Trackers rely on GPS signals for location data and cannot function if they are enclosed in a metal structure, such as a trunk or toolbox. Additionally, they might struggle to obtain a GPS fix within metal buildings or underground parking decks. If your tracker is not updating its location, it is likely due to one of these factors. Ensuring it has power and a clear GPS signal will usually resolve the issue.
